I understand this has been an issue for along time without any resolution. It would be great if Articulate comes up with a patch to resolve the issue at the earliest. Automatic moving to another layer/hiding the layer before the time line ends or creating slides for all layered contents defeats the idea of creating courses in Storyline. The tool being so popular for its usability, this update will definitely help to create user friendly course packages.

We have it reported for Storyline 2 - is that the version you're using? If you're using a newer version let me know - and I can test there and make sure our team is aware.
