seekbar is gone but is timeline still there?
Apr 14, 2017
I removed the default trigger that advanced my slides when the timeline ended. I also changed each slide to advance "by user" only. In the player, I removed the timeline, since it now served no purpose. However, when I preview the project, it will only let the next button advance the slide after about 5 seconds on each slide, as if the timeline was still there. Is there something else I need to change in my settings so learners can click through more quickly? They don't need to read the title slide for 5 seconds if it's just a few words.

Hi Kristen
do you have the menu in the player set to 'restricted'. If so, SL default behaviour is to wait until the timeline duration ends before the user can click the Next button. You may need to shorten the timeine to 1 or 2 secs to allow them to progress quicker or change the menu to 'free'
