Seekbar on slide layers

Hi guys - is it possible to allow learners to see the Seekbar moving on a slide layer, without them being able to move the seekbar?
I think this is the setting, but I can't seem to get this working with any of the following options:

Is there any update on this as a feature that Brad explained? I see Ashley raised an official feature request, but I can't find an update. This feature would be extremely helpful and I'm a little baffled as to why it isn't already a feature?
Any update /timelines would be great!
