When the course starts, or any individual slide, I do not want the speech/sound part to immediately start. But I would like to give the student the option to push the play button in the seekbar when he/she decides he wants to hear the accompanying story.
Welcome to Heroes! It's not currently possible to do so within the Seekbar. It would make a nice feature request though.
That being said, it's possible to put the audio on a layer and have it called via a button. That would eliminate the possibility of the audio playing right away and would give the user control over whether they wish to hear it or not.

Ok I will try the layer, thank you for the answer! I have one more related question:
Will the seekbar still be in function when I do that? Because we want people to be able to "scroll" back and forth in the spoken text.
