Seekbar shouldn't be visible on slide layer

Jun 21, 2016

I have a quiz slide that I used as an acknowledgement page in a course. I have the slide properties set to NO seekbar - and, being a quiz slide, there is only a 'submit' button.

Once the user has checked the box acknowledging the materials on the slide and clicked submit, the feedback slide says "Thanks" and tells them to move on.

If the user returns to that page (there are links to useful info on said page), they are directed to a slide layer I created - not an already-existing feedback layer - that informs them that they've already acknowledged everything and "Thanks". The problem I have is that the seekbar is now visible and so are the NEXT and PREV buttons.

What the heck is going on? And how can I get rid of the offending seekbar and buttons?

Hi Beth!

Sounds like your learners would be in quiz review mode at this point, right?

When learners review a quiz, they'll see Articulate Storyline's built-in Prev and Next buttons in the lower right corner of the player—even if you've disabled them throughout your course. See this article for more information.

If you'd like us to take a look, please share the .story file so we can better understand.
