Seekbar with layers

Hello,
I have completed a course and I currently have several slides with several layers. Most of these layers are triggered by the completion of the previous layer's timeline. This results in the seekbar "refreshing" every time a new layer appears. This is not the end of the world, as I have the seekbar set to read-only, but it would be nice if it didn't do that. I am looking to do 1 of 2 things:
1. Have the seekbar track the completion of the entire slide vs. each layer.
2. Remove the seekbar while still maintaining a play/pause button.
