Seekbar without Player

Does anyone know if there is a way to add a seekbar to a template within 360 without enabling the Player controls?

With the Player engaged I lose so much of the real estate view of the slide.

I have found a template that allows me to build the controls of a menu, sound, control buttons, allowing  the screen to be taken up fully with my slide real estate rather than player controls around the edges. However there doesn't seem to be anyway I can build in some kind of seebar - which is essential to our courses.

Can anyone advise if there is a way to do this?
