Select your facilitator

Hi All, I am creating a course and (in light of diversity and inclusivity) would like the participant to select their own facilitator (male, female, young, old). I made a slide with 5 characters and when selected the state change to him or her giving a thumbs up. That was the 'easy' part. 

My question is: How do I now go about to create the course in such a way that the selected character will appear on all of the following slides? I don't want to make 5 different branches of the same content, just with different characters on.

Please if anyone have an idea or 'recipe'.

Hi Irene

add one of the characters to the first slide then create states for each of the other characters.

eg character 1 is normal state, then create new state called char2 and replace with a different character and repeat for all.

add that character with all the states to each slide you want them on.

Create 4 True/False variables default to false one for each character except the first one as that is the normal state On the main slide where they make initial selection add the following triggers

1. Adjust variable char2 == true when user clicks character 2. repeat this trigger for the other 3 characters

On each slide where you have the character add trigger

Change the state of the character to char2 when timeline starts on condition variable char2= true

Change the state of the character to char3 when timeline starts on condition variable char3= true

Change the state of the character to char4 when timeline starts on condition variable char4= true

Change the state of the character to char5 when timeline starts on condition variable char5= true
