Selected buttons don't retain their state after learner returns from new scene

Hi All,

In the Storyline module I'm creating, I have to move from one page with buttons that link to all the scenes (each scene is a lesson) and want to make sure that once I click on that button, it stays greyed out after I return from that scene, and the next, and the next. Is there a way to do this?

Hi, Mala,

By "greyed out," do you mean Disabled? If so, add a trigger to the button that changes it to the Disabled state. Be sure to put that trigger before the one that jumps to another slide. (A trigger can't execute if you're no longer on the slide.) 

FYI: By default, a button will change to the Visited state when clicked. However, you can use a trigger to change it to any state.
