Can any one tell me what state a selected states reverts to once it has been clicked on a second time?
So to explain a little further, Once you click on shape the selected state activates and turns into what I expect, after clicking it again the states disapears. What state is that shape on now?
Often it is normal, but it could also be visited, or a predefined custom state, it normally reverts back to the state before selected, ignoring the hover state
I thought as much, I just needed to be sure as one of my interactions isn't working as I would like and it is based on a selected state reverting back to normal.
I'm working on an interaction an I have an issue that I think relates to this. I have the slide set up so that it won't advance unless each shape is in selected state. What I didn't realize is that if you go through and click on any of the shapes a second time, that puts them in to a different state and therefore, the slide won't advance. I'm having a hard time figuring out what state to put in my conditions for the Next Slide Trigger. Basically, I want to make sure that each shape is clicked on once before the learner can go to the next slide. As I have it set up now, it works as I want to as long as they only click on the shape once. But I'm certain some users will go back through and click on them again to read the text. I'm attaching an excerpt from the training. The slide I'm working on is titled "Evacuation" and has 8 circles with a big circle in the middle. Can you advise on how I should fix my trigger so that I get the desired outcome?
Hi Adriel! Clicking on an object will toggle the Selected state: Click = Selected, Click again = not Selected, Click yet again = Selected. Here's a quick Peek of what I mean.
Instead, try using the Visited state in your trigger conditions to jump to the next slide.
