Self-Assessment

Feb 20, 2017

I want to create a self-assessment that gives point values to responses and then populates a results slide based on the varying total points earned.  For example, if a student scores a total of 1- 5, then they would see results slide A, if they score a sum of 6-10, they would see results slide B.  Is there a tutorial to help me with this?

Hi Becky

if you want the results to be recorded in an LMS you could only have one Result slide reporting.

It may be easier to display layers on the same result slide depending on score received so show layer A when timeline starts on condition score between 1 and 5 or show layer B when timeline starts on condition score between 6 and 10.

Hope that helps

Hi Becky! Welcome to the community!

This tutorial explains how to award points by answer choice. You'll want to keep in mind this option is only available for some question types, including Multiple Choice, Word Bank, Freeform Pick One, and Freeform Hotspot.

Next, you'll want to add a results slide after all of the quiz questions. And since you want a particular layer to appear on the results slide depending on the score the learner receives, take a look at this thread I answered recently. Colin asked a similar question, so the demo I created for him might also be helpful for you. :)
