Sending end of course e-mail
Mar 31, 2015
In Story 1 I was able to use a Button trigger to send me an e-mail. Here's what I used in the trigger:
Email: magnussenm2@citadel.edu?subject=Title IX Basic Training&Body=I have completed Title IX Basic Training.
It worked in 1 but when I took the course after updating to 2 I received a popup box with WARNING and the email didn't send. Is there a new way to have this happen? I have a campus full of folks that will be hitting my online courses within a month and I need to track their completion (no LMS).

Hi Mark,
What was the warning that was received? Were you testing the course within the intended publish environment or testing it locally? The email trigger has some known limitations as described here, but I haven't seen an error message particularly, just that it doesn't work as expected.
Sorry, got tied up with an investigation.
It says:
Warning:
The mail to feature on this slide has been disabled while viewing locally because your browser does not support it.
Hi Mark!
Hi, It's weird. I publish it to our server, then access the file using Chrome to test. I'm getting some e-mails back. So it's something else. Let me dig around.
Thanks for popping in with an update :)
