How do I send someone a copy of a storyline project that I put together?
Do I always have to 'publish' the document [or republish], wait until the screen pops up stating it's been published and asking me what I want to do with it, and then select email?
What if I want to send someone a copy later, after it's been 'published'? I want to email it to a colleague and the published version is on my hard drive. Do I have to 'zip' the entire file and then send it to them?

Yes
If you want them to edit the .story file, send that.
If you want them to view it, publish and then send immediately, or put it on your hard drive where you can .zip and send later.
