Sequential cue points

I saw something close to this topic years ago, but there did not seem to be a solution. As such, I decided I would bring it up again in to see if a resolution has been found. Let's say you have 8 objects and 8 cue points. You want to assign the cue points to the objects sequentially. Is there a way to select all your objects and then assign them all to cue points in one step? FYI, I already know how to assign them all individually.
