This has been driving me crazy. What I want is for the user to change the text and as soon as the last letter is typed, I want the program to evaluate what was typed, immediately return a false or true and then perform an action based on the outcome. I'm attaching the file. I would be happy to answer more questions.
For example if the user types in "HOLD" which is correct, then I want the slide to advanced immediately to the next slide. If the user types something other, I want it to immediately show the incorrect layer. Then when that is completed, it jumps to the next slide immediately. Hope that description helps. File attached.
the text in the box isn't validated by SL until 'control loses focus' which means the user needs to clicks somewhere on the stage or a button to continue.
