I'm building a 100 question test using Storyline 360 and I would like for the "Review" button to ONLY review the incorrect answers, Is there a way to make this happen?
Thank You, Alyssa, I've seen this post but I'm still a little hung up. I have created the True/False variables but I'm not sure where to tell storyline to check on the variable and how to tell it to skip that slide if the variable is true.... Can you help with that?
Hi there! Take a peek at this screen recording. Jeanette will walk you through exactly how and where to set up the triggers. If you're still getting stuck, perhaps you could share a scaled-down version of your file here?
Thank you for sharing. This helps me solve a future problem with my next project however in this video Jeanette mentions that she made a review mode trigger so that the 'correctly answered questions' were not skipped during the review (which is exactly what I want). In this project, we are also not using the correct/incorrect feedback slides, which is where she has certain triggers located. Is there another way to achieve the goal of not showing the correctly answered questions during the review?
Ah, okay! Not using the correct/incorrect feedback slides does make it more challenging, but almost anything is possible with Storyline! Hopefully a community member who has used a similar set-up can share their steps with you here. 😊
Really appreciate you letting us know that you'd be interested in a "Review incorrect answers only" feature. I can definitely understand how it would make life easier, and it's something we could certainly consider in future updates. I'll be sure to pass along your thoughts to our team.
In the meantime, I generally point folks to the method in this thread to achieve what you're looking to do. The method there is for retrying a quiz, but you can apply the same principles for reviewing a quiz. That should get you going in the right direction!
Thank you Alyssa, however, the solution proposed is too complex and time consuming.
I've seen some examples of courses that can do this creating a review layer with a blank rectangle and then a call to another layer called Incorrect, those will show up depending on the "condition" of the objects. The problem is the quiz objects present in the baselayer won't show up on the Triggers editor (like for example Review Button 1 or 2, etc ) .
I was expecting to follow the video but the link is broken, maybe to recover that video will help.
And yes , please, I suggest to discuss this with the development team , there's no Instructional purpose in making the people to review 50 questions if they only want to see what they missed with no re-taking the quiz.
Hey folks! I'm super excited to announce we just released a new feature in Storyline 360 that you're gonna love. 💙
Now it's easy to allow learners to review and retry only incorrect questions with just a few clicks! You can read more about how this new feature works in this article that's hot off the press.
Just wondering if you can review incorrect answers for more than one results slide at a time? I have a quiz with multiple results slides that funnel into a single, overall result slide. I tried using the incorrect only option on that final result slide and it just reloads the slide vs. going back through all results slides and presenting incorrectly answered questions.
Hi there, Stephanie! You should be able to use this function on the final results slide as well. What do the triggers on the Retry Quiz button look like? They should appear very similar to this setup:
You'll want to change your triggers to reset the results of each quiz to enable users to retake them. Let me know if that works!

Hello! This thread is a bit older and references a retry, but the same method would apply for a review. Hope that helps!

Can you share the .story file? Might be easier if we can see the setup to help you with a solution - where to place the triggers.
Hello Alyssa,
I need to set-up a Review only for the incorrect answers, no feedback, just to show the incorrect.
The link below to Jeannette's video is broken.
Please can you provide it again or can you send me in the right direction? Thank you !

Hello,
I am not sure if this method has been implemented.
Attached is my solution on how to review incorrect answers only.
