I don't think this is doable. Is there a way to manipulate the previous/next button of a slide in the Storyline? For example, we would like to be able to set the initial state of these buttons to hidden. We can create our "own" previous/next button and unchecked the "built-in' previous/next buttons.
You can't manipulate them in terms of "hidden" states - but you can follow this tutorial about disabling the next button until a user has finished interacting with your slides. Although, as you mentioned you could create your own custom buttons - and that opens up a bit more options for how to deal with them.
I have a one page training. There is no slide to go to previously or next. Any recommendations? WIth the icons showing on the slide, it appears to the user that there are more slides in the training and they get confused and think it is broken. It creates a lot of havoc.

Hey Ashley,
Thank you for your response. I figured that there is no direct way to hide the buttons.
This would be real helpful, as if you even set a trigger to initially disable or hide it, it flashes on every slide.

Check the video for maybe the two easiest ways.
