Is it possible to set a default style for text insertion when creating step-by-step tutorials using the screen capture in try mode? For example, the current default is to insert "Click the "OK" button." I would prefer to set the default to say, "Click "OK." I am not able to find any options or settings for changing the default style for these captions.
Are there any new solutions to this question? I would like to change the default style (color and font) of the default captions when doing a screen recording. Just noticed these responses are from 4 years ago. Thanks!
While there isn't a way to set the default caption font and color, you can format one caption and use the format painter to quickly apply the same formatting to the other captions in just one click. I love the format painter because it's a real time-saver! I hope that helps. 😁

Modifying the default caption text is not currently supported, but there are two methods described here on how you could modify them after recording.
