We are using a results slide as we want to ensure that learners complete some specific quiz slides, however we do not need a pass mark the quiz slides are being used to build peoples knowledge rather than test it.
Can i set a 0% passmark and still have it track and show completeion when reporting to LMS?
How about giving scores to incorrect answers as well. In that way the learner will score 100% irrespective of the answer he is giving. It will solve your purpose.
I think you can set your pass mark to 0 - on the result slide. However if it doesn't work you can make your assessments into slides (not using question banks) and let the LMS track based on number of slides visited. With this you count the number of slides and make it the pass criteria for the LMS.

I am not sure if passing the learner on 0% would work. Consider this scenario:
If I have 5 questions and I attempt only 2 questions and close. The result score is still zero. It might show complete. Right?
