I was wondering if it is possible to have buttons in the Slide master trigger layers on individual slides. I am trying to create a custom notes panel and I want the notes button I created on the Slide Master to open the notes layer I have created on the slide. Is this possible?
Or will I have to add a transcript button manually to each slide that triggers the notes layer?
I have been able to construct something I think does what you are requesting. I've a file hopefully on the link below that is a skeleton project with all the information you need to make it work.
The project uses a variable to control the display of the Notes layer on each slide, but the buttons (on the Master) change the value of the variable depending on whether show is clicked or hide is clicked. You could overlay the buttons to create a toggle type button effect, I left them apart so you could see things better.
