In my storyline file I have some circles that, while in edit mode, are perfectly aligned. However, in Preview mode and after it's published, the circles are no longer aligned. They are centered on each other using the Align tool and yet somehow never look aligned in publication! I see this is not a new problem in the forums; this also happens to me while placing text (text looks vertically centered in edit, but wildly off in preview and publish). Attached are images of the problem.
If you could upload your file, I could take a look, or the slide.
One suggestion, to make sure your zoom when authoring is at 100%, otherwise you will not get the true result when preview or publishing when aligning items.
