Shapes and States

Hi I want to create a coloured shape without any states.

On top of the shape is text that have triggers.

When I preview the background coloured shape is active and is acting like one big coloured link - when I just want it to be a background colour.

Is this possible?

is the trigger a hyperlink or is it on the shape

Hi I have noticed that when I create a coloured shape, which is all I want it automatically comes with a state. so when I play the slide the shape when the mouse moves over it, it becomes a hyper link, which is not what I want. I just want a plain old shape with a particular colour.

Any ideas?

Hi Nina

I've not seen that happen when creating shapes that SL automatically creates states - see this Peek video.

It does happen with buttons
