I am using shapes as buttons for some of my menu slides. When I first visit that slide, everything acts normally. When I return to the slide after going through one of the sections, all of the shapes on the slide are gone. I have attached a file with one section of slides where this is happening.
I have run your file a couple of times and each time it appeared to be working okay as all of the tabs remained on screen even when the Knowledge Check tab appeared at the end.
One thing I did notice, however, is that when you hover over a tab it drops down, which then makes it impossible to read the text as it is hidden by the tabs in front of it. What I would suggest is that, for your hover state, you have the tab pop up so that the text is then clear of the tabs in front.
I am not sure why you are having problems with disappearing shapes, but if nobody else experiences the same issue when they look at your file, you might want to consider uninstalling and reinstalling Storyline.
I thought it seemed a bit strange to hide the text, but oddly enough, if I select one of the shapes and then look at the individual states, as I move over the hover state it definitely moves down:
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing in your project.
I was able to take a look at the updated file you shared above, but I am unable to recreate the issue you are reporting. When I return to the slide, the shapes are still present.
Are you able to record a screencast to display what you are experiencing so that I can work to recreate it?
When I run an older save file and preview the training in Storyline or view it in the LMS, I do not get the issue. When I run a more recent save file, it does happen in both. The interesting thing is, everything might work fine for a coworker. Could it be an update issue?

The way the slides are working for you is not how I set it up. I had actually set it up so the hover state pops the tabs up.
It is interesting that you did not experience the same issues, though.

That is very strange. It seems like copying and pasting the slides into a new Storyline caused some issues. A new file is attached to this message.
When I open the training in our LMS, it works fine. When I open it in Articulate, it does not.
Thank you for the time you have taken to help out, here.
Hello Matthew and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

A screen cast of what I am seeing is attached.
Thank you!
Thanks so much, Matthew.
Here's what I see.
Do you know what version of Storyline you're using?
You can check by going to:
