Shapes showing up in different places
Dec 08, 2017
I published a course to Articulate Review and my client pointed out that a shape was overlapping with the text below it. When I looked, I didn't see it. She sent me a screenshot and, sure enough, for her the shape appears lower on the screen than it does for me.
I thought this was a Review issue, so I published for web and sent it to her. Again, the shape overlapped the text for her, but didn't when I reviewed the course.
I tried deleting the shape and creating a new one. Same thing happens.
What's going on?

Hi Havaleh
which browser are you viewing it in and which browser is your client using?
We are both using Chrome.
Hi Havaleh. I'm sorry you're seeing inconsistency there! Are you able to share your .story file, or even just the one slide where this is happening? You could attach it here, or even send it privately to me using this form.
If you can't share the file, details that I would be interested in are:
story_flash.html
at the end of the URL for web), or HTML5 (story_html5.html
) output. It'll be easier to tell with the web output by glancing at the URL in your address bar.I'm happy to try to help!
Thanks for your help, Crystal. I submitted the two slides in the course where the inconsistency is occurring.
Thanks, Havaleh! I see you submitted your issue to our support team, and they've escalated it to the right group. You're in good hands...I'll follow along there, too.
