I am probably missing something simple here, but I have some 16 checkbox shapes in a slide and I'd like to attach conditional triggers to some of them. The problem is that I cannot see 2-3 of the shapes when I open the "if" window in the Conditions panel. I attached a short doc here to explain what I mean. I also attached the slide from the story file.
In my view I see three more shapes listed above ED SL Open: ED SL Closed, ED AV open and ED AV closed. Is there no scrollbar on the right of the list? Can you use your mouse wheel to "scroll" up?
Yep, those are the ones I can't see ( ED AV open and ED AV closed). I cannot scroll up any more than I am. I even tried moving the entire Conditions window down on the screen to try to get to those shapes.
I wonder why you can see it and I can't. I cannot even view the top of the scrollbar.
I see the same thing Michael described. Curious if you have Storyline open to a full window? Are you seeing the scrollbar? I know you mentioned it, but it wasn't in your image.
Are you using at least 1,024 x 768 screen resolution? If not, that would explain why some of the objects in the trigger dropdown aren't accessible to you.
I have the window open as full as I can make it. I attached a document with a screenshot of what I see for the scrollbar. As you can see, I can't view the top of it. but I still try to push it up from the bottom!
I never really thought about screen resolution all these years, but I went to the Story Size thing in Design and set it to 1,024 width x 768 height with Lock Aspect Ratio and Scale to Fit. That didn't make a difference either. The screenshot for that is also in the attachment.
Again, thank you for your feedback. I can't figure this out, so I created my own little workaround.
Well, I checked all the settings and I was well above 1,024 x 768 screen resolution.
But I changed it anyway to see what would happen. I also played around with DPI.
Unfortunately, nothing worked. But it's ok. I figured out my own workaround.
I decided that given my tight development schedule, this is not really an issue of concern right now. And I don't want to waste your time with it either. I'm sure you all have a lot more pressing stuff to take care of. Anyway, this issue is extremely minor in the scheme of things.
Whenever I have an issue with Storyline, I can count on the dedicated members and staff on these message boards to offer some feedback. I appreciate that very much. And I'm sure I'll be posting again soon with some new issue!
I'll have a computer friend over my place soon or I'll share my screen with one of my colleagues and sort this out when I have a few more minutes.

Hi Amit,

Let me know if that helps!

Hi Amit,
I think Alyssa was recommending changing the overall resolution of your computer screen, not just Storyline. Take a look at the steps here.
Hi Ashley,
Thank you for the feedback. I went to the link you sent and checked on the DPI and the screen resolution. I adjusted both of them, but it didn't help.
It's probably something really simple that I'm missing. But I figured out a work around until I sort out what the issue is.
Thanks again for your help.
Amit
Hi Amit,
After you reset the DPI, did you restart your computer? Sometimes with overall settings like that you need to give the computer a refresh. :-)
Hi Ashley,
No, I didn't do that. Thanks for the tip. I'll try and let you know.
Amit
Sounds great Amit :) You know where to find us.

Thanks for sharing Amit. Sorry to hear that did not work well for you.
Such a kind thing to say about our team as well - I'm going to pass that along. Thank you :)
