Sharing work with team members

May 08, 2018

Hi,

I edited some work on a course and want to share it with a team member through a link in Slack or through email. She has an older version of Storyline so sending her the project file isn't working. I also tried the publish to options and that doesn't seem to work either.

I've looked through a lot of documentation and cannot find my answer so hopefully it exists. How can I quickly send files that are accessible to all team members? Is it possible?

Thank you,

Hi,

I have a similar problem – my team member had created a project about a month ago and then recently left the company...I inherited his version of Storyline but now I cannot open the project he created because it "uses features that are not available in my version of Storyline".  The prompt asks me to upgrade to the latest version in order to open the project.

Hopefully the answer you find will help me too!

Hello Ryan and Gabe and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

Looks like Walt has popped in to assist you here and Ryan it sounds like that is certainly applicable in your situation since you mentioned that your team member has an older version of Storyline.

When sharing a Storyline project with other developers in your network, use the workflow described in this article to avoid loss of resources, file corruption, and other erratic behavior due to network latency.

With Articulate 360 Teams, collaboration has been added as a feature. Check out the details here.

Gabe - I'd be curious to know what version of Storyline you are using and if upgrading to the latest version update would work well for you. Just let me know what version you are using if you need a link to get that taken care of.
