Shifting Hotspots

Jun 05, 2017

Not really sure what is going on with this. In the course that I created, the hotspots shift down to the right when they are published to LMS. Everything works perfect in preview mode, but the published version is not working correctly. Any ideas on how to fix this would be great.

I'm having the same issue - all the links work fine in Review 360, but once exported the text-based link hotspots in the SCORM package are all shifted 20-100 pixels up. Shape-based links are fine. There are also some slides where text-based links embedded in a paragraph within a shape do not launch the proper content, however the cursor turns into a pointer whenever hovered anywhere on the shape in question (rather than only when hovered over the text link).

Same results in both Chrome and Edge. I'm guessing that replacing text links with shape links will solve this problem, but this will require quite a bit of rework. Any solutions?

Hi Rupa, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊

I appreciate you reaching out to let us know that you're experiencing a similar issue.

The issue above was specific to Storyline 2, and since you're using Storyline 360, it'd be best to take a look.

I want to look at your project file to investigate what's happening with your permission. You can share it publicly here or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when troubleshooting is complete.
