Shimmer or Twinkle effect

I am trying to put together a 50's themed module, so naturally I have some stars on the title page, along with some others. Is there any way to have them twinkle a little, maybe change colors, so they look period authentic?

Here's the one catch... they have to loop as well. Basically the stars will twinkle as long as the slide is shown...

You could try a GIF animation for the 'twinkling' stars.

What would i use to create that? I have access to Photoshop 10 and Storyline 2.

You can use PS to create GIF animations. There are lost of YouTube tutorials available. Some other tools and examples are dicussed here.

Thank you. I will be working on that. My PS experience is pretty low so this is going to be pretty challenging.
