Shooting target!
Jan 30, 2015
Hi there,
I am trying to create a 'game' whereby I have an object (gun) which shoots antibodies (trigger on click gun to start motion path on antibody) at a pathogen (repeating motion path on this to make it jump). I would like to create a trigger which shows a layer when the pathogen is 'hit'. Any ideas of how this can be achieved. I'm stuck!
Thanks in advance,
Nina

Hi Nina,
I'm wondering if Linda Lor's example in this eLearning challenge is similar to what you have in mind? https://community.articulate.com/articles/zombie-survival-training?page=3#comment-13784

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply! Yes this example is similar to what I was hoping to achieve. Are there instructions on how this was accomplished? Currently I just have the alien jumping up and down a little and it getting hit no matter what the user does. It would be great to make it a little more advanced!
Thanks,
Nina
Hi Nina,
I used a slider to launch the records at the zombie. Since there is no way of determining if there was an actual hit, I highlighted the zombie at certain points of the game and awarded points if the slider was in the correct location to have hit the zombie, when it was highlighted.
I hope that makes sense to you.
Linda
Did you understand my explanation Nina, or do you still need help?
