should i use javascript to move characters on the slides?

Could you describe what types of movements that you want to do?

Storyline has just a few animations right now but depending what you want to do, some workarounds are available.

I need to make a look like character speaking for some slides. Actualy, my solution consist in an export of a screen capture with a character inside and creation with Gimp or Photoshop of a gif with the character mooving lips. After that manipulation i import as a picture and i have something quite nice.

The second type of movement consist in mooving characters along a path drawn on a slide. For this i ve actually no solution.
