Show checkmark on main scene after finishing scene(s)

Hi everyone,

I'm having some problems with my checkmarks and variables. Yesterday I was able to change my state of my buttons to show a checkmark, due to adding variables.

All this works fine, thanks to this community by the way! Screencasts and info helped me a lot.

But now I'd like to place checkmarks on my buttons at a main scene.

here's how it is set up:

Main scene:
Buttons which guide to the appropriate scene. (4 choises)

Scenes:
Here a base module with several buttons for the corresponding slides. There are several slides (chapters).

Slides:
Once the slide is finished, the checkmark on the scene will appear. This works excellent by the way!

Problem now:

When a scene is totally finished (all the slides are completed, and checkmarks appear) I'd like to let an checkmark appear on the main slide.

I've tried to do it by adjusting the options in the variables (when the state of the slides are 'completed'  change te value of the variable to true) but it won't show.

Could anyone help me out? I hope my discription is clear enough, if not I'm more than happy to explain better.
