Show diffrent menu titles?

Dec 17, 2019

Hello @ everyone,

I am trying to add a second version to one of my courses. The user should be able to select either the german or austrian version. I put both courses in one project and set a 'choose one' trigger on the first slide (to got to either the german or austrian version). I know I could also set the austrian version as layers and trigger them on each slide, but the austrian version got more slides than the german version.

So my question is: Is it possible to somehow trigger the menu to be either from the german version or from the austrian version? Our users are used to the built-in menu but atm this course got both menus.

I saw the built in slideTitleMenu variable, but I am unable to figure out how to use it.

Hi Nicole,

The Menu.SlideTitle variable displays the slide's name in the player menu and is just a quick way to reference the title of the slide.

Since you are using the built-in player menu, there's not a way to trigger a secondary menu that only displays a particular language. Hopefully, someone in the community can offer tips on this customization, or you may want to also reach out in the Building Better Courses discussions!
