I am trying to show a layer from my Master Slide on just one page within my course. I've set up a trigger on the Master Slide with the following details:
Action: Show Layer
Layer: Course Settings
When: Variable Changes
Variable: preferences
I now need to add a trigger to the page I want to show this layer on but the trigger I added doesnt work. Please can someone advise what trigger I should be adding to this page?
According to me ur triggers are perfect and it should function properly. However, stil I am attaching a story file with the same triggers as urs n it is working accordingly. May b u have misd to add the condition in the master slide trigger.
Thanks Hassan. I've added the condition and i've looked at your example and your right its the same as mine. I'm going to try using a new variable as perhaps something is conflicting. I bet its something really simple!

This is the trigger I set on the slide I want to show the layer...
Action: Adjust variable
Variable: preferences
Operator: =Assignment
Value: Value , True
When: Timeline Starts
Object: 1.2 Untitle Slide

Thanks Hassan. I've just realised what i had done. I checked my original variable and i'd set it to True instead of False. It's been a long week!
