Show layer once

Hi, I've set a variable to show a slide layer only once at the beginning of the base layer timeline. The triggers/variable works somewhat. The base layer actually starts and shows for a second or two before the layer pops up. Not sure why the layer is not showing immediately - at the base layer timeline start.

What am I missing?

Would you be able to share the .story file, or at least the one slide, so we can look at the set up?

You can add it with the paperclip icon.

Ironically, I just figured out why the base slide is brieflyappearing before the layer – there was a slide transition attached!

Anyway, thanks for responding J I’m all set now.
