I have a video in a slide and use the video control. When the Learner clicks the control to play the video I want to display a layer. I do not see any trigger that will let me display a layer when the video control "play" is clicked.
Am I missing something simple or do you have to build a custom work-around to do this?
I was hoping someone would jump in and provide a simple solution, but as far as I know there is non. You could create a 'fake' play button and place it on top of the built-in play/pausebutton and have that button control both, the video and the layer as in this quick example.
One question ..... I understand making the fake button and you place it over the top of the real player button and set triggers to play and show the caption but what causes the fake button to fade out and the pause button appear??
It's probably very obvious and I'm brain-dead at the moment )

'Pause' and 'Play' are actually two states of one custom button. Clicking the button not only plays/pauses the video and shows the layer, but also toggles a variable. Based on that variable, I change the state of the button to look like Pause or Play.
