Show sum of answers for a yes/no likert scale quiz

create two number variables one for ayes and one for No. 

create a trigger to add 1 each time the user selects yes

create a trigger to add 1 to the No variable each time the user selects No.

On the result slide add two text boxes and in each text box put the variable reference

Thank you for the quick reply... testing if I could apply these variable on my quiz though I was able to this on a customized likert quiz. Oh on more thing, how do I prevent stacking of these variables? Say I click on yes button and I see 1, but then I changed my mind and chose no instead but still the yes number stayed. how do I reset it in every question so I get the real sum on the result slide (I even tried clicking on one radio button and the number kept going up!)

Depends on your setup Nino- hard to say without seeing the file. 

make sure the yes no buttons are part of a button set (select them both right click > button set) this means only one radio button can ever be in the selected state - then if they are clicking a submit button change the triggers to add 1 to yes when user clicks submit on condition yes radio button is equal to selected - same trigger for the no button.

anither way if you don’t want to give them the option of changing their mind is to set Yes radio button to disabled when user clicks No radio button and vice versa.
