I've built a bespoke drag & drop with a submit button showing. If the user gets the answer incorrect then I've built a layer showing the correct answer. The submit button is deactivated for 'correct'/incorrect'. However, I can't seem to deactivate the submit button for the layer showing the answer?
You're using the built-in "Submit" button, correct? If that's the case, you won't be able to show/hide from a layer, other than the base layer. Those buttons are tied to the base layer itself.
If you don't want to show this button on a layer, it may be best to create a custom "Submit" button and simply disable the default button.

Let me know if you have any questions :)
