Showing Layers

Oct 31, 2014

Is it possible to show two or more layers at one time? When I bring up another layer, the previous layer being displayed disappears.

Hello Ileana!

Please make sure you are working locally as described here.

As long as both layers are not set to "hide other slide layers", and there is nothing overlapping, you should be able to select items in either layer as they both are showing. you also want to make sure there are no triggers set to "hide layer" when something is clicked.

you can also share your file here if you would like us to look at the settings.

Oh yes i have some "hide" on both layers... for this they are conflicting.

Attached an example of my question.

I would like to keep watching the layer approf1(or approf2 or approf 3) and the audio playing, while scroolling the panel in the layer "testo audio".

What can I set to let those two layers play at the same time? is this possible?

Hello ileana!

I checked your file and it looks as if you have these layers set to "hide layer" if the user clicks outside the text box, the X, or the caption, so basically anything outside the text in the layer.

When the user clicks "Testo Audio" this triggers these to close as it is outside the text boxes.

If you copy the "Testo Audio" text box onto each layer, and add that to the triggers of "hide layer if clicked outside" you can click on the testo audio while the slide layer is showing.

See attached, (I added this to the Prima Parte layer only)

The only thing is now the layer will still close if the user clicks outside of the text box, or the Testo Audio text box on each layer.

Hope this helps!
