I want to display a web object either on a new slide or on a layer. After the viewer or learner views the web object I want them to be taken back to the previous slide or base layer. How can this be done?
Hi there, Jamie. Web objects aren't controlled by the slide timeline, and there's no way to trigger actions based upon learners viewing them. Would it work to have a button appear on the slide beneath the web object once the timeline reaches a point where the learner has probably viewed or interacted with the web content?
You have no way of knowing what the user is viewing as Crystal noted. What some people do is ask a question or something about the content. This ensures some level of reviewing the web object, and it gives you a trigger to go to the previous place.
