I want to simulate a scrolling touch screen menu. what are my options? will i have to use up and down arrows to change layers to simulate the movement or can i do something without buttons to make it act more like a touch screen scroll menu?
Yes, you can use arrows to allow users to manually control the simulation of a scrolling touch screen through layers.
Another option would be to "Show Layer [next layer} when the timeline ends (of existing layer). Duplicate that trigger and it will go through as many layers as you have.
Now that I write that, you could emulate your iPad (presuming you're using an iPad) on your desktop using AirPlay and record it as a screencast. Then just insert it as a video.
