Is there a way to create both a view it and try it mode in the same course in Storyline? I want the learner to be able to choose which mode they want - one, the other, both. Would I create the view it course, then create the try it course and then put branching slide in front of the two and let them choose which one they want?
you can create the screen recording and set it as one mode first. Then insert another slide, go to the Record Screen dropdown - select the recording and change the options to other mode - once you have recorded screens it is available for use more than once. Hope this answers your question.
Looks like you got some good information here. If you want the user to choose which scene, you would just need to add a slide before these with a button or shape that they can click on the direct them to the proper scene.
