I have triggers, slide layers and objects I want on my simulation slides. I did get "properly formatted" slides to generate with a template but i'm struggling with the simulation slides.
Is there a quick way to accomplish this? I can't copy all those simulation objects to a "properly formatted" slide.
If you're using the built in Storyline screen recording, we'll automate the process for the View, Try, Test Modes for things like click actions and hint captions. You could always update them once we've created the slides. Take a look at how to conduct a screen recording here.

or, as a follow-up? Can i define the information that gets generated automatically on the simulation slides? I'd like to customize the output rapidly.
