Site does not Support HTML5 - Need to convernt or embed

May 08, 2014

I've created a training module in Articular Storyline where progress does not need to be tracked.

I need to be able to publish this to a "portal" site that does not support HTML5 yet.

At the moment, the portal site only supports MP4, PPT and PDF. In the past, I could embed Flash files to a PDF.

In this case, I'm trying to find a solution to work around this by converting the HTML5 or embedding it somehow.

I'm not especially technical. Can anyone offer a solution?

Hi La Nic,

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

Does the server not support Flash, as well? When you publish a project, you can include the option for HTML5, but each publish will also include a Flash version. This is accessed by using the story.html file versus the story_html5.html file.

I'm just curious, what type of server is this? Is it a web server, an internal server, etc.?

Thanks!
