You can't currently add texture to your player skin, all the directions on how you can currently customize the Storyline player are available here for a course. Anything beyond that would require our upcoming SDK, which we haven't announced a release date for yet. If you'd like to stay up to date on this, I'd suggest subscribing to the Word of Mouth blog.
You also may be interested in this tutorial on how to make a chromeless player, and then you could customize the Storyline background to fit within the texture you'd like.
