SL 1 - displaying a message when clicking next button
Jun 19, 2015
Hi all,
I created a quiz in SL 1, published as scorm and uploaded in Moodle 2.7.
On the result page the learner can see his/her result, but when clicking the next button there is a final last "official course page". The client complains that this next button takes a long time (could it depend on the fact that the result should be written on LMS?). Anyway to avoid any complains I would like to add a message like "The command has been sent. Please wait.", whan clicking next button to go to this last page. Has anybody a suggestion how to manage it?
Thanks a lot.

hi Silvia,
Is your final last "official course page" is also in storyline or something else i found it little confusing , if you have the page in storyline and in same course you can try to add one layer ion the result page in which you can add instruction as you have mentioned "The command has been sent. Please wait.", and to make it work you will jst have to add one trigger on next button which will be Show Layer (layer Name ) when user clicks Next button, see to it if it works for you or you can also upload story file for reference so that i can understand what exactly the problem is...
Cheers
Hi Prashant,
Thank you for your prompt reply. My "final page" is a SL slide after the Result slide. I try your solution with a layer triggered by next button and I'll let you know.

Thanks for the update Silvia! Just let us know if you need anything further.
Hi Leslie, Hi Prashant,
:( it doesn't work as I wanted... perhaps I did something wrong.
Hi Silivia,
Could you share more about how you set it up or even share the .story file here so that Prashant or others could take a look and see if there was something that should be modified.
