It is early and I am not running on all my cylinders here. I could have published to HTML5 only, or I could have navigated IE to play the story_html5 .
Either way, I was able to test HTML5 playback in IE and I can't reproduce the reported problem.
I'm going to tell the client to clear cache and try again.

That dialogue looks like they are trying to run Storyline rather than the content. Flash does need to be installed to edit in SL2 and I think 3 360

Which version of SL are you using? SL2 will need flash in IE to view the content.
If using 360 did you publish to flash first? I would expect it to default to HTML5

Could be IE is running in compatibility mode so is being blocked because the course thinks it is IE8
I will check. Not likely but you never know.
