SL1 and Windows 10

I didn't use my SL1 for a while and today, after an update in July to Windows 10 I am not able anymore to enter the software.

 It says my trial period has expired and when I enter my activation code, it says it is invalid. I also get an error box that pops up stating "UI_AdminRequiredNotice" "UI_AdminVistaNotice11".

I know now from other discussions that there is not supposed to be a support for SL1 in Win 10. It is still the case? I'm quite upset I can't use this wonderfull, but expensive software anymore and I have e-learning courses to finish. Do I really have to update to SL2 and how long will it take before I have to update again to the next level?

Hi Andrea!

Articulate Storyline 1 isn't officially supported with Windows 10, and published Storyline 1 courses aren't officially supported with the new Microsoft Edge browser. See this article for Storyline 1 system requirements.

If you choose to use Storyline 1 with Windows 10, you may see a UI_AdminRequiredNotice error message. You should be able to fix it by running Storyline 1 with administrative privileges one time as described here.
