(SL1) Publishing to Word ...being used by another process

Environment:

Storyline 1 Update 7.14...etc
Parallels 9
Windows 8.1

I am trying to publish to Word, as I have done successfully in the past, but I have encountered the following error

I have read a couple of threads where others have had similar issues where you are recommended to disable Shared Profiles and to store all related files locally.

My setup already complies with these requirements, so I am looking for anyone who may have encountered something similar and found a solution.

Hello Stanton!

I wanted to direct you to a thread here where someone had the same issue.

Please make sure you are working locally as described here. You can also try importing this into a new storyline file and see if this corrects the issue.

Thanks Emily. I appreciate your response.

I meant to add importing into a new SL file to my list of things I had already tried.

So neither of these approaches solves my issue unfortunately.

Hello Stanton!

You could try the steps here, as well as try reinstalling Word to see if this helps. If this does not, you could always submit a case to our support team with your file.

I will try reinstalling Word... that sounds like a good idea. I'll let you know how it works this evening.
