Our IT department has recently secured all of our web servers. We are seeing a marked increase of complaints from external users saying that courses are "timing out". Are there any parameters that need to be set/altered in SL2 that would address this issue? Any other tips or tricks?
wouldn't that be a user profile/server setting to time them out after xx minutes inactivity? We had similar when I worked for an insurance company. Or if you're running it through an LMS the LMS can also have a timeout setting.
I'd agree with Wendy that you may want to research options within your server or Learning Management System (LMS). Storyline doesn't have a setting to calculate how long a user has a course open.
