I thought this problem was solved with the new SL2 update. I guess not.
I just downloaded the new release to try and resolve the Red X that suddenly appeared in a project.
Now with a brand new project I created a new slide and manually typed text into a text box. As soon as I changed the font, the Red X took over the entire preview screen. I've attached my story file. The screen in question is 4.1
This is going to seriously affect my deliverable on my project.
Hi Claudine! I'm not seeing the Red X in your project, but it does seem to have some corruption as both Slide 2.1 and Slide 4.1 cannot even be previewed. I would advise that you work locally on your file to prevent erratic behavior. Does the issue occur when you utilize a specific font?
I started my project over from scratch - i did't copy over the original files. I am also now working locally. Previously I was working off my cloud OneDrive.

The font in question was Trebuchet MS.

Sorry. My problem is solved now that i'm working locally and starting over.
